Broodhold

Overview

Broodhold is a Strike on The Tangled Shore for 1-3 players, released with Destiny 2: Forsaken (initially a PlayStation 4 exclusive, on all platforms a year later). It was removed to the Destiny Content Vault with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, so it is not in the current rotation. The Spider sends the Guardian into a crashed Hive warship to destroy a nest and learn why the Mindbender and the Brood Queen In Anânh have formed an Eliksni-Hive alliance. Enemies are Hive (Thrall, Knight, Wizard, Ogre, Shrieker) and Fallen House of Dusk. Recommended power in game data: 750.

Encounters and mechanics

1. Hellrise Canyon - kill a Brood Host Knight; its worm radiates Ether.
2. Breeding site - Brood Hosts drop Ether-poisoned worms. Carry a worm to the matching barrier to destroy it and open the way; the mechanic repeats through the strike. Three Brood Hosts must die before In Anânh appears and retreats.
3. The Broodhold (final arena) - fight the Son of In Anânh (a WANTED target), then In Anânh and her shades. She uses Void traps, summons a shade of herself and swaps places with it, so damage the real one.

Rewards

No exclusive loot; it is one of only three Nightfall strikes without exclusive rewards.
