History of Blunt Execution Rounds

Overview

Blunt Execution Rounds is a column-four trait exclusive to the BxR-55 Battler. Hitting a nearby enemy with a melee attack grants the next burst bonus damage and handling. Melee abilities such as Throwing Knife and Smoke Bomb also trigger it. The boost ends after a short time or on the next shot.

In PvP the bonus is smaller and short-ranged: roughly 100% more damage after a melee hit on an enemy within 14 meters. In PvE the bonus is much larger, reported at about 500% for the next burst. The uptime depends on how fast your melee recharges. The figures come from guides written in different seasons, so they may have changed.

Common partners are Kill Clip and Incandescent for the melee-focused roll, or Demolitionist and Pugilist for a more flexible build.
