Benefic

Overview

The Benefic was one of the Precursor factions that made up the Witness before it was formed. Psalm Lab names it alongside the Penitent, the Solipsists and the Nihilists as one of the groups within Precursor society that the Witness drew its minds from.

Lore

The factions fought one another, and the Penitent came out on top, forcing the remaining minds to join it. The Penitent's aim was to merge everyone into the Witness. The source gives no beliefs for the Benefic and does not say what happened to it.
