Avarokk

Overview

Captain Avarokk, the Covetous is the final boss of the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. He is a Fallen Captain who leads a group of rogue Eliksni obsessed with hoarding riches across the Sol system, particularly the Engrams of Wilhelm-7. His crew lured Wilhelm-7 and his Ghost to caves beneath Skywatch in the Cosmodrome, then hunted him down and took his hoard.

Encounter

Avarokk fights in the Sunken Lair, starting when a player approaches the Cursed Engram in the centre of the arena. Players kill Scorch Vandals for Scorch Cannons, use them to power reactors that spawn Cursed Engrams, and collect the Engrams, which stack the "Burdened by Riches" debuff. Depositing 60 stacks in the Icon of Avarice opens a roughly 20-second damage phase. Lieutenants Grisprax and R-M80 respawn after each phase.
