Cursed Engrams

'''Cursed Engrams''' are the collectible used in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. They drop from Dormant Hive enemies, such as Acolytes and Knights, once a side room's door is opened with a Scorch Cannon. Each room has its own wave of drops.

Collected engrams are deposited into the Icon of Avarice, the crystal at the back of the arena. Once the Icon holds 40 Cursed Engrams, it draws Phry'zhia to the crystal. The boss's immunity shield then drops for 40 seconds, and it becomes more mobile and can climb to the second floor. A guide from another outlet gives a count of 25 stacks, so the exact number may vary by version. The shield returns when the timer ends, and the cycle repeats until the boss is defeated.
