Haft
Auxiliary Reserves
Additional energy storage.
• Greatly increases shield duration
• Decreases reload speed
Overview
Auxiliary Reserves is a Basic Haft perk, introduced in Season 16. It adds energy storage that greatly increases Shield duration, and in exchange decreases reload speed. It is a defensive choice for weapons that rely on a shield, at the cost of slower reloads.
Weapons
It rolls on 23 weapons, including Vexcalibur, Backfang, Refusal of the Call, The Heron and The Enigma. On Glaives such as Refusal of the Call it appears in the barrel-or-sight column rather than the haft position.
Comparison
On the same glaive, Low-Impedance Windings also lengthens shield duration, but it gives a slightly faster reload and less range. Auxiliary Reserves is the stronger shield-duration option and the slower-reload one.
Tips
It suits builds that lean on the shield and do not need fast reloads.
