History of Athrys's Embrace

Athrys's Embrace are Exotic Hunter gauntlets introduced with Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

Overview

• Class/slot: Hunter gauntlets (Discipline and Recovery).
• Intrinsic perk, Skittering Stinger: the Weighted Knife gets a second bounce. Rapid precision hits grant it a large damage bonus and the ability to stagger unshielded combatants; this can stun Unstoppable Champions.
• Lore draws on an Eliksni lullaby about protecting hatchlings.

Acquisition

• Rare drop from Solo Legend and Master Lost Sectors.
• Exotic Armor Focusing: Tier 2 focusing with Rahool for 60,000 Glimmer and 2 Ascendant Shards (Destinypedia), once unlocked in Collections.
