History of Ascendant Portals

Overview

Ascendant Portals are the hidden entrances to Ascendant Challenges in the Dreaming City. Each portal stays hidden until you use a Tincture of Queensfoil at its location, which lets you look into the Ascendant Plane. The Tincture is sold by Petra Venj and also drops from public events, chests, patrols and The Blind Well in the Dreaming City.

This is not the same as the Hive Ascendant Portal of the Witches' Ritual public event.

Using a portal

Consume the Tincture at the portal's location, then complete a short platforming challenge to reach it. If you die during the challenge, you are returned to the Dreaming City and must repeat the platforming.

Portal locations include:

• Cimmerian Garrison: Behind the chest in the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector, after clearing the sector.
• Ouroborea: At the end of the Aphelion's Rest Lost Sector in The Strand.
• Forfeit Shrine: In the Gardens of Esila in The Strand, near the Divalian Mists entrance.
• Shattered Ruins: In the Spine of Keres, in the Divalian Mists.
• Keep of Honed Edges: In Harbinger's Seclude, near a statue at the end of the Dark Monastery mission.

The featured Ascendant Challenge changes each week, cycling through six locations.
