Amorphous Scriptures

Amorphous Scriptures are Scriptures socketed into the Tome of Want in Episode: Heresy. They are earned the same way as Crumbling Scriptures: by destroying Sigils, turning in 10 Metastasized Essentia at the Taken Altar in Eris Morn's apartment, or buying them with Sigil Stones inside the Tome.

Use

Running a ritual with an Amorphous Scripture alongside a Permanent Scripture costs 5 Essences of Desire. The ritual yields high-end materials that depend on the Permanent Scripture selected.

Comparison with Exotic Scriptures

Exotic Scriptures are rarer, one-time-use items, typically found in chests aboard the Dreadnaught. Socketing one replaces the category reward with a different reward, such as an Ascendant Shard or an Exotic Engram.
