Akardon, Pitiless Mind

Akardon, Pitiless Mind is a Vex Mind of the Sol Divisive faction and the final boss of the Starcrossed Exotic mission from Season of the Wish. It is a large Vex Hydra that learned to simulate the Techeuns and their ability to track Riven's clutch. The fight takes place in the Black Garden, where the Guardian retrieves one of Riven's Eggs.

Encounter

The arena is filled with orange mist, so players step on orange and blue paracausal sparks to gain the Crowned by Dragons buff, which lasts 44 seconds. Stepping on either spark restarts the timer. Akardon summons Taken Goblins, Seekers, Harpys, and Pitiless Attendants. Defeating it completes the encounter.

Trivia

The name may derive from the Greek Ákardos, meaning "heartless." It shares its design with The Undying Mind.
