Undying Mind

The Undying Mind is a Vex entity of the Black Garden, and the name of a Level 20 Strike from Destiny: The Dark Below. Set entirely within the Black Garden on Mars, it is one of the Mars strikes alongside Cerberus Vae III and Dust Palace.

Fireteams of one to three clear waves of Vex, including Minotaurs and Hydras, to open the gate. They then fight Precursor Minotaurs, Goblins and Hobgoblins, and a Divisive Oculator. In the final area, Goblins and Minotaurs spawn through a portal. Once they are dead, the confluxes activate and The Undying Mind spawns: a Vex Hydra the fireteam must kill, along with waves of Precursors on the ground, before it can resurrect the Black Heart. Ikora Rey warns that the Vex are working to repair the Garden's destruction.
