History of Abyss Defiant (Adept)

Overview

Abyss Defiant (Adept) is the Adept version of Abyss Defiant, a Legendary Solar Auto Rifle with a 360 RPM frame, the high-impact option of the raid's weapon pool. The recommended PvE roll is Extended Barrel, Ricochet Rounds, Subsistence and Incandescent, since Incandescent can trigger Cursed Thrall explosions; Heal Clip with Incandescent is also a strong pairing. The 360 RPM archetype limits it in PvP.

Acquisition

Drops from the Crota's End raid. This Adept version is earned from Master difficulty raid completions, where Master challenge rewards give a random Adept weapon. All of the raid's weapons carry the Cursed Thrall origin trait: after a melee kill, final blows with the weapon make targets explode for a short time.
