A Shadow Overhead

Overview

A Shadow Overhead is the opening mission of Season of Arrivals, set in Echo Mesa on Io. After the Black Fleet arrives in the Sol system, Commander Zavala sends you to investigate a Pyramid and find the missing Eris Morn, whose signals are being suppressed. It is a single-player story mission (data lists power 750; sources give none).

Mission

Investigate the Pyramid and find a vantage point in the Lost Oasis, enter the Cradle and speak with Eris. Enemies are Hive and Taken (Shriekers and an Ogre Ascendant). Beneath the Tree of Silver Wings you find the Seed of Silver Wings, used in later missions.
