9: Thin

"9: Thin" is entry 9 of 19 in the lore book The Pigeon and the Phoenix, a Season of Dawn lore book about Saint-14 and Osiris and their time together before Osiris's exile. The triumph is completed by unlocking the entry, and it has no listed description. Entries are read afterwards in the lore records.

How to unlock

1. Start the Corridors of Time activity (tied to the Bastion Exotic quest from Season of Dawn).
2. Pick the runes in this order, one per room: Clover, Clover, Clover, Snake, Diamond, Hexagon, Diamond.
3. At the end of the pathway the entry drops. Walk forward toward the tomb to be returned to the start, then repeat for the next entry.

Summary of the entry

During a Fallen assault on the City's walls, Osiris commands about twenty golden Light projections defending breaches on the East, North, West and South fronts, including Shaxx among the defenders. Each time he reinforces one breach, another gives way. When evacuees are killed in a blast on the Northern front, he sees it through his projections. He keeps fighting but concludes, "If not this, another. The dam will fail, as all do in time."
