History of Winterbite Catalyst

Overview

Winterbite Catalyst is the completion record for Winterbite, the Exotic Heavy Stasis Glaive. Its catalyst was added with Monument of Triumph in June 2026. Obtain the catalyst, defeat 400 targets with Winterbite, then apply the upgrade.

How to complete

The catalyst is a random activity reward, also available through Exotic Order payouts in the seasonal hub. Repeat eligible activities while owning Winterbite until it drops. For the 400-kill objective, use the weapon against groups of weak enemies and replenish Heavy ammo between groups; kills from unrelated weapons or abilities do not satisfy its weapon objective.

Once the counter is complete, inspect Winterbite and apply the catalyst. It grants Rimestealer, allowing the weapon to build Frost Armor through frozen-target kills and Stasis Crystal destruction. This triumph records the completed weapon upgrade, rather than awarding a second Winterbite.
