History of Weave-Shooter

Overview

Weave-Shooter is a Crucible class medal requiring an opponent defeat with a Silkstrike direct hit at maximum distance. Silkstrike is a Hunter Strand Super, wielding a rope dart.

How to complete

Equip Silkstrike, enter the Crucible and charge your Super. Activate it with an opponent near the end of the rope dart’s reach, then aim the direct light attack so the dart’s tip hits and defeats the target. Keep enough separation to land the outermost part of the attack; closing to point-blank range fails the distance condition.

The required defeat comes from the direct hit at maximum reach. A nearby opponent caught only in the sweeping heavy attack or an explosion does not satisfy that direct-hit requirement. The medal does not require a particular weapon loadout.
