Wavesplitter Catalyst

Overview

Wavesplitter Catalyst tracks 500 targets defeated with Wavesplitter. It belongs to the Exotic catalyst collection. The weapon’s catalyst adds Detonator Beam and Attrition Orbs, improving sustained beam damage and generating Orbs of Power.

How to complete

Obtain Wavesplitter and pursue its catalyst through ritual activity rewards or Exotic Orders. Use the weapon to deliver final blows to enemies until the 500-target counter is complete. Enemy-dense encounters let you progress efficiently; keep the beam on a target until it dies and replenish ammunition between groups.

Collect Orbs of Power to activate Supercharged Battery and temporarily maintain maximum beam power. Complete the catalyst’s weapon-defeat requirement and apply the unlocked catalyst upgrade to the weapon. A completed collection triumph is separate from receiving the actual catalyst drop; the triumph itself is not an acquisition source.
