Wait for It…

Overview

Wait for It… is the Confluxes encounter challenge in Vault of Glass. It awards 10 triumph score and contributes to the Fatebreaker seal. No paid expansion is required for the raid.

How to complete

Assign two players to each lane and defend the Confluxes. For every Sacrificial Wyvern, allow it to reach its own lane's conflux and begin sacrificing, then kill it before the sacrifice completes. The kneeling animation and red glow signal the damage window. A completed Wyvern sacrifice wipes the team.

You may weaken the Sacrificial Wyvern beforehand, but stop before it dies. Save burst damage, such as Nova Bomb or Thundercrash, for its sacrifice animation. Avoid uncontrolled damage that kills it early and avoid drawing a Wyvern across to another lane's conflux. Kill the other Vex normally so they do not sacrifice.

Finish the entire encounter without an early Wyvern kill. Normal difficulty is sufficient for this triumph; Master difficulty is not its completion requirement. Completing an active encounter challenge also awards bonus raid loot, separate from the triumph's score.
