Vex Offensive

Overview

Vex Offensive was the six-player seasonal arena of Season of the Undying (Destiny 2: Shadowkeep year). Guardians entered a portal to the Black Garden from The Moon and fought alongside the front lines against the Vex. Power: 750 as listed by the game data.

Encounters and mechanics

• Three rounds against Sol Divisive Vex forces. In the first two, kill waves of enemies, then Gate Technicians to collect Void Craniums used to destroy Oracles (six in round one, twelve in round two).
• The boss round is Crotheon, a Minotaur that rotates between three positions. Craniums temporarily lower its shield, opening roughly 30-second damage windows.
• A later variant, Vex Offensive: Final Assault, swapped the boss for the Undying Mind.

Rewards

Seasonal weapons and armor from chests, including the Imperative and Substitutional Alloy sets, plus Vex-themed progression components.

Status

Sunset: removed from the game when Season of Dawn launched, being replaced by The Sundial.
