Vex Node

A Vex Node is a green Vex object used as a puzzle component in Encore. The node is a required piece of a puzzle rather than an enemy.

In Encore's Coda section, in Maya's Lab, the Vex Node is part of the puzzle behind the seventh hidden chest, which feeds the Hack the Centaur triumph. Players clear adds until they have a green Vex Node and an Arc Cranium. Depositing the node spawns slanted walls, and the Arc beam is ricocheted off them from set standing spots. Clearing all four wall sets opens the lab.
