History of Veilweaver Wizard

The Veilweaver Wizard is a Hive enemy in the Hive Ritual, the first encounter of Ghosts of the Deep. After the Lightbearer step, a Veilweaver Wizard arrives at the ritual site.

Defeating it grants a Deepsight point, which reveals the runes on the thrall statues. The encounter then repeats the imbuing cycle until the door opens.
