History of Valus Forge

Valus Forge, also known as Valus Saladin, is one of the last surviving Iron Lords and still oversees the Iron Banner. He is a member of the War Council of Empress Caiatl, where he advises on military matters and keeps communication open with Zavala.

During Season of the Risen, Crow accidentally caused a diplomatic incident with Caiatl. To prevent a war and save Crow's life, Saladin offered himself as tribute. Caiatl was impressed by his honour and took him into her service as Bracus Forge, later promoting him to Valus.
