Untarnished Grit

Overview

Untarnished Grit is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to complete all encounters in the Spire of the Watcher dungeon solo without dying and without leaving the activity. The triumph awards 15 score.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must enter the Spire of the Watcher dungeon and complete every encounter within it. The run must be conducted in a solo fireteam, meaning no other players can be present in the instance. During the entire duration of the dungeon, the player is prohibited from dying; any death invalidates the solo flawless attempt. Additionally, the player must remain within the activity at all times; leaving the dungeon instance will break the requirement. The player must successfully clear all encounters from start to finish under these strict conditions to obtain the triumph.

Safe encounter route

Start a fresh Spire of the Watcher instance alone. Kill Conduit Minotaurs for Arctrician and follow yellow wires in order to ascend. Preview jump routes and nodes before moving; refresh the buff when needed.

At Akelous, the Siren's Current, clear nearby Harpies before finishing the fourth fuel rod. Quickly shoot the boss's eyes, damage its exposed core, and prepare for the blast that can knock you off the platform. During the descent, avoid electrical hazards and shoot the red-node circuit quickly.

At Persys, Primordial Ruin, prioritize Supplicants and Hydras. Power the two active yellow circuits, lure Persys into the reactor and use the red nodes to close it for the purge. Preserve a safe route back to the control room. Neither boss has an encounter enrage; take extra damage phases rather than risk a death.

Rewards

Claim 15 triumph points, the Flight of Soteria emblem and an increase to the initial Hierarchy of Needs drop chance. The Exotic is not guaranteed by this triumph. This also contributes to the WANTED dungeon seal.
