History of Unsafe at Any Speed

Overview

Unsafe at Any Speed is an Adventure on the European Dead Zone (EDZ) in the original Destiny 2 campaign era. A Fallen Pike gang is wreaking havoc, and the Guardian must capture enemy vehicles to even the odds. It takes place around the Winding Cove, and Samurai Gamers lists a recommended Power of 160+, from the original 2017 launch. The Power value in the game data (750) is a later-era figure for the same activity entry.

How to start

Complete the story mission Fury, then pick the Adventure up at Firebase Hades from Hawthorne. Note: I could only open one page that covers this adventure, so the starting NPC comes from search-result summaries and should be verified.

Objectives

1. Destroy the Servitor to cut off the Fallen's Ether supply, then ram the Pike riders with a captured vehicle.
2. Head to the Winding Cove and hunt the Pike gang members.
3. Defeat the gang leader, a Captain guarded by Vandals.
4. Finish by taking out a Walker with heavy artillery. Stay at range for accuracy and keep moving to avoid concentrated fire.

Rewards

The source does not list specific loot beyond what drops during the fights.

Status

This Adventure belonged to the Red War era EDZ content and was removed from the game when Destiny 2: Beyond Light vaulted the original campaign content (check in game for current availability).
