History of Uncharted Space

Uncharted Space is a mysterious pocket within Eris Morn's throne world, the High Heresy in the Ascendant Realm, which appears in Episode: Heresy. In that content, players reach the throne world through Eris Morn's flat in the Last City via a Hive rift.

Overview

The Episode: Heresy acts launched 4 February, 11 March and 1 April 2025 and the episode ended 15 July 2025 (Destinypedia, Wikipedia-style episode summaries). Destinypedia's Episode: Heresy article names High Heresy as a new Ascendant Realm location and describes the episode's The Nether activity aboard the returned Dreadnaught, but does not mention the name "Uncharted Space" at all. Searches for a standalone article also found nothing, so the exact in-game extent of Uncharted Space is unconfirmed.

Lore context

In the episode's story Eris Morn is killed while investigating the new eldritch force on the Dreadnaught, but her mastery of Hive magic is widely taken to have kept her alive in a throne world (a fan inference from secondary coverage, not confirmed by the sources opened).
