History of Trace Override

Overview

A Trace Override is a weekly-limited item used at the Prismatic Recaster in Season of Arrivals (Season 12). It unlocks further focusing of Umbral Engrams.

The two upgrades are Improved Arsenal Focusing and Improved Armor Focusing. Armor focusing narrows the stats you want on the armor it produces. Using a Trace Override also costs Altered Element, and the upgrade unlocks at season pass rank 72.

Notes

The Umbral Engram system was revised later. The Season of Arrivals details here do not apply to later seasons, where drop rates were lowered.
