Total Victory

Overview

Total Victory is the original Crown of Sorrow raid challenge for Gahlran's Deception, the third encounter. Complete it for 20 Triumph score and progress toward the original Shadow seal.

How to complete

Break Gahlran's Deception's shield five times during one damage phase before defeating it. Each shield break requires a player with Witch's Blessing and a player without the buff to strike the Deception together. Coordinate buff exchanges at the Witch's Vessel so enough blessed players are available for the repeated breaks.

Call out each successful shield break and hold heavy damage until the fifth. Killing the Deception too early fails the challenge, even if the team completes the encounter. The original weekly challenge bounty was collected from Suraya Hawthorne when available.

Availability

Crown of Sorrow was vaulted with Beyond Light on 10 November 2020. This original raid triumph is no longer obtainable. Later encounters featuring Gahlran do not substitute for this Crown of Sorrow challenge.
