Theories on the Vex

Theories on the Vex is a set of in-universe speculation attributed to Sister Faora, quoted on the Kairos Function armor. It was added with Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris on December 5, 2017 and is attached to the Radiolaria lore entry.

The theories describe the Vex as isolating their network into subnets, so that damage to one does not spread to the others. Many subnets work through equations toward the same goal, called convergence. Faora also speculates that the milky radiolarian fluid in Vex chassis may be the remnant of a biological life-form that became the Vex.
