The Tenets

Overview

The Tenets is the four-step introductory quest for the Monument of Triumph, added June 9, 2026. The quest begins by directing the Guardian to inspect the new monument in the Tower Courtyard. Ikora Rey explains that it honors the four Guardian Tenets: Devotion, Bravery, Sacrifice, and Death.

Walkthrough

1. Go to the Tower Courtyard and interact with the monument to inspect the Monument of Triumph.
2. Open the Tenet of Bravery vendor and use its "View Triumphs" menu to claim the "The Monument" Triumph.
3. Return to the Tenet of Bravery vendor and purchase any item. The first purchase unlocks the other Tenet vendors.
4. Speak with Ikora in the Tower Bazaar. The quest then completes and makes the follow-up Distortions quest available.

Rewards

The quest's objective sequence ends with Ikora and unlocks Distortions. The in-game quest record lists no direct reward. Reported payouts vary: some guides list 50 Legendary Marks and a Triumph for completion, while an official 2026 announcement described 50 Marks as a returning-player login gift.
