The Paper Crane is a story mission in Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate, set on Kepler. It starts after completing the "Quarantine" story mission. The Guardian and Orin investigate pools of Radiolaria contaminated with dark matter.

Encounters and mechanics

The investigation shows how dark matter cuts the Vex off from their collective and how the Nine can manipulate spacetime. The mission ends at the Monument to Failure in the Aionians' Shrine. Ikora Rey encourages Orin to share what she knows.
