Overview

The Militia's Birthright (Adept) is a Legendary Grenade Launcher of the Kinetic element. It is classified as a Weapon within the game's inventory systems.

The item features the following flavor text:

Uses the Lightweight Frame archetype in the kinetic slot with special ammunition.

Acquisition

Originally a Grandmaster Nightfall Adept reward from Season of Plunder. Adept access depended on the featured weapon rotation. Legacy weapon focusing does not supply retired Adept versions. The original Nightfall playlist was replaced by Ops categories in June 2026.

Crafting and variants

This is a random-roll weapon without a crafting pattern. It is an Adept variant. It has no legacy sunsetting Power cap; those caps were removed with The Final Shape.

Notable traits

Lead from Gold adds special ammunition from heavy-ammo pickups. Frenzy improves performance during sustained combat. Origin traits include Stunning Recovery, Vanguard's Vindication, Field-Tested.
