The Manticore is a Void Exotic Submachine Gun that gets bonuses for fighting airborne.
Acquisition
- Season of the Seraph: it was a Season Pass reward.
- After the season: it is available from the Monument to Lost Lights (Shacknews).
Catalyst
Start the quest Volantes Violentiam by talking to Banshee-44 in the Tower:
- Defeat 50 targets with Submachine Guns while airborne.
- Earn 200 calibration data while the Manticore is equipped, defeating more targets; it accumulates in Vanguard, Gambit and Crucible.
- Return to Banshee-44 in the Tower courtyard.
The catalyst grants Flying Monster: damage resistance when you get final blows while airborne.
