The Drowning

Overview

The Drowning is the Exotic mission in Season of the Deep that rewards the Wicked Implement scout rifle. It takes place in the Deep Dives.

Steps

Three Exotic fish are caught, one each in Savathun's Throne World, Nessus and the EDZ. Depositing them in the aquarium returns three Broken Blades. Only one player in the fireteam needs all three blades for everyone to receive the Exotic.

The blades are placed in statues in the Deep Dives. The first statue sits in the first underwater section. The encounter is a timed fight against a Tormentor Omen, where each Honed Minotaur killed gives the fireteam a Deadly Sharp stack, and three stacks let you damage the boss.

Catalyst

After the rifle is obtained, complete a Tier 7 Deep Dive and open the Tier 7 reward chest. Masterworking requires multiple kills with the rifle.
