The Defiant is a Legendary Hand Cannon dealing Solar damage in the Energy slot. Curated roll: Lightweight Frame, Accurized Rounds or Drop Mag, and Threat Detector (reload, stability and handling when enemies are near). Default shader matches War Cult Endgame.

Acquisition

Earned from Future War Cult engrams by ranking up with Lakshmi-2 during a Faction Rally (introduced in Curse of Osiris; rallies ended after Season 3 per Destinypedia).

Not craftable and has no Adept version per the sources consulted. Faction gear is tied to Lakshmi-2 and the Future War Cult.
