The Blast

The Blast is a private location in the Cosmodrome on Earth, in Old Russia, between the Refinery and The Devils' Lair. It was a fuel-pipeline installation that supplied the Exodus Program's colony ship Exodus Red, pumping fuel from the Refinery directly to the ship.

Collapse

During the Collapse, an explosion destroyed the fuel lines. Exodus Red was left stranded on its launch pad with thousands of refugees aboard, and their mummified remains are still there. As conditions in the Cosmodrome worsened, the ship's AI judged a successful liftoff increasingly unlikely and sent a distress signal with its final thoughts and well-wishes for any survivors. Nothing is known of the ship's fate beyond that message.
