Temptation

Overview

Temptation is the second story mission of The Final Shape, set in The Pale Heart. It is launched from the Refuge of Speakers landing zone and offers Normal and Legendary difficulty. Crow has gone missing, separated from his Ghost Glint, while scouting a darkness anomaly, and the Guardian must find him. Enemies are the Shadow Legion, Dread and Taken.

Walkthrough

1. Drop into the lower level and fight through a linear path to an early Tormentor. Use a Prismatic Flare to gain Transcendence, kill the Bound Attendants and burst the Tormentor. A long-range scout rifle helps on Legendary.
2. Solve three conduit dial puzzles blocking the cave. Kill Taken Psions for Psionic Insight and rotate each hand so it stops in the highlighted section(s); the last dial has three.
3. Defeat the Pillar of Denial, which shelters in Taken Blights.
4. Defeat the Enlightened Omen in a three-wave fight, clearing spawned Grims and Bound enemies.
5. Platform to the end and reunite Crow and Glint; The Witness reveals an "incision" in The Traveler.
