History of Tempest Cascade

Overview

Tempest Cascade is a Basic Trait weapon perk from Season 18 that rolls on Delicate Tomb, an Exotic Arc Fusion Rifle. Collecting an Ionic Trace overcharges the weapon's next shot, and that shot jolts any target it hits.

The perk fits in the trait column next to the weapon's intrinsic. Each trace powers a single shot, so the perk rewards keeping traces stocked and firing the charged round into groups.

Ionic Traces

The weapon's intrinsic, Traitor's Vessel, generates traces. Final blows with the weapon have a chance to create them, and powerful foes and opposing Guardians always do. The Ionic Interment catalyst adds a perk that partially reloads the magazine from reserves whenever a trace is collected.
