History of Tangle

Overview

A Tangle is a Strand object: a knot of Strand matter that can be shot to make it explode or picked up and thrown at enemies.

Creation

Defeating a target afflicted with a Strand debuff (Suspend, Unravel or Sever) unwinds it into a Tangle. Other sources include Threadling final blows (the Wanderer aspect), the Thread of Transmutation fragment and the Quicksilver Storm exotic.

Use

Destroying Tangles feeds class synergies, for example Titans grant Woven Mail to nearby allies through Into the Fray, and Warlock-thrown Tangles attach to targets and burst to suspend them.
