Talas, Dusk Captain

Overview

Talas, Dusk Captain (also called the Tattered Dusk Captain) is a Fallen Captain of the House of Dusk. Talas is the boss of The Rift, a Lost Sector on Nessus, and first appeared in Destiny 2 before returning in Forsaken.

Location

The Rift is built from scavenged parts of the Exodus Black and is reached from the Exodus Black crash site in Arcadian Valley. Guides disagree on the exact entrance, with one describing a route behind a section of ship engine and another a way through the western wall of the crash site.

Fight

The sector is full of Fallen. One walkthrough advises sniping the Vandals first from behind the column, then clearing the Dregs before the boss. Defeating Talas gives the cache key, and the cache is found along the leftmost edge of the site.

Difficulty

Power levels listed for the sector date from Season of the Wish and may have changed since.
