Taken Centurion

Taken Centurions are elite heavy infantry Taken of the Cabal Centurion type. They are protected by Arc Absorption Shields embedded in their armor, which must be broken with Arc damage. They can teleport short distances, which makes them hard to track as they move around the arena.

Their usual weapon is a Void Taken Projection Rifle that deals heavy splash damage, though some carry an Arc Taken Slug Rifle. They also fire homing Axion Darts, floating Void spheres that curve around cover and corners. Shooting a dart detonates it safely. Unlike regular Taken, Centurions lack jump jets, so they usually hang back, suppress Guardians with their rifles and use darts to flush them out. The head is the precision spot.

The Centurion first appeared in the original Destiny expansion The Taken King and returns in later Destiny 2 content, including Episode: Heresy.
