History of Swordbreaker

Overview

Swordbreaker is a Legendary Strand Shotgun with a Lightweight frame at 80 RPM. TheGamer calls it the strongest Lightweight Shotgun in the sandbox, with strong range and handling together. Rolls it recommends: Subsistence and Hatchling for add-clear, Demolitionist and One-Two Punch for melee builds, or Slideshot and Opening Shot for PvP.

Acquisition

Drops from the Crota's End raid. Sources disagree on exactly which encounter drops which weapon, so check the current loot table in game. Raid weapons are craftable once you have unlocked the pattern from Deepsight copies (about five), per Grindout and The Game Post. Master difficulty also awards Adept versions. All of the raid's weapons carry the Cursed Thrall origin trait: after a melee kill, final blows with the weapon make targets explode for a short time.
