Sword Mastery

Overview

Sword Mastery is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to defeat Guardians in the Crucible using a Sword. The triumph tracks the number of final blows dealt with any sword during Crucible matches.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must engage in Crucible matches. During these matches, the player must equip any type of Sword. The objective progresses by securing final blows on enemy Guardians. The triumph requires a total of 100 final blows to be achieved. The specific weapon model or subclass of the sword does not restrict progress, as long as the weapon is classified as a sword. The player must continue playing Crucible activities until the counter reaches 100.

Acquire heavy ammunition in Crucible and use cover to close on opponents before swinging. The objective needs 100 cumulative Sword final blows, so assists or defeats caused by another weapon do not count. Keep the sword available for close fights and retreat if the enemy can defeat you before you reach melee range. Progress carries between matches.
