Overview

Steelfeather Repeater is a Legendary Auto Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame that deals Kinetic damage in the Kinetic slot, firing at 720 RPM. The Rapid-Fire Frame gives deeper ammo reserves and a slightly faster reload when the magazine is empty. Its flavor text is "There is strength in delicate things." Destinypedia ties its lore to Saint-14.

Shacknews recommends Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Feeding Frenzy and Multikill Clip as the god roll. Possible traits listed by the Destiny 2 Wiki include Grave Robber, Subsistence, Ambitious Assassin, Slideways, Feeding Frenzy and Firmly Planted in the first column and Surrounded, Elemental Capacitor, Swashbuckler, Osmosis, Multikill Clip and Vorpal Weapon in the second.

Acquisition

Destinypedia and the Destiny 2 Wiki both say it comes from The Sundial activity on Mercury. The in-game source text says to open Legendary engrams and earn faction rank-up packages. Craftable, Adept and sunset status are not stated by the sources opened. Sources disagree on the debut: Destinypedia and Shacknews say Season of Dawn, the Destiny 2 Wiki says Season 9.
