History of Splinters of Darkness

Overview

Splinters of Darkness are the items that grant Stasis in Destiny 2: Beyond Light. The Exo Stranger gives you the first one about three missions into the campaign.

Acquisition

The first Splinter is attuned at the first console in the Ziggurat in Beyond Europa, reached by Sparrow opposite the campsite. Next, you commune with a Crux of Darkness in the Nexus on Europa and defeat the waves of Vex that spawn. Communing with the Crux makes you Stasis-empowered, which shortens the cooldowns of your abilities and Super.
