History of Splintered

Overview

Splintered is the seal for Destiny 2: Beyond Light (10 November 2020), mostly on Europa. It grants the Splintered title, sometimes called the Year 4 title. Its 11 triumphs (about 45 steps in game, per Dexerto, 23 November 2020) are slow, with weekly gating (GameRiv says up to 10 weeks). It is a grindy seal still listed as legacy content; confirm availability in game.

Required triumphs

• Born in Darkness: complete the campaign missions.
• Studying Darkness: all nine Entropic Shards. Salvage the Past: Dead Exo collectibles (nine). Reuniting the Eventide Rookery: penguin toys (nine). Neither is time-gated now.
• Europan Collector: Europa collections badge (includes Salvation's Grip, The Lament and Cloudstrike).
• Master of the Hunt: any Empire Hunt on Master. Solo Lost Sector Mastery: Master Lost Sector solo.
• Masterful Saboteur: all seven Tier III sabotage quests from Variks.
• Fallen Brig Brigade: kill Brigs (50 per GameRiv) in the Crux Convergence public event as a fireteam.
• Training Complete: Exo Challenges (Safeguard, Survival, Agility), weekly rotation.
• Augmented Obsession: all eight Augment triumphs, about eight weeks.
