History of Spike Grenades

Spike Grenades is a Grenade Launcher perk: grenades do increased damage on direct hits and the weapon gains stability. It gives +50% direct impact damage (impact portion only; explosive damage is unaffected) and +10 Stability.

Weapons

The Destiny Game Wiki names The Day's Fury and Courageous Surrender as launchers with the perk. The manifest shows it on many more grenade launchers, so check the roll on the weapon you have. A guide describes the damage bonus as especially useful against bosses.

Tips

It is recommended for boss damage in the Crown of Sorrow raid.
