Speed of Sunlight

Overview

Speed of Sunlight is a Solstice event challenge for earning one hundred progress through rapid target defeats. Rapidly defeating opposing Guardians grants bonus progress. It rewards Event Tokens and Event XP.

How to complete

Attack dense enemy groups and chain final blows in quick succession, using area damage where it can finish several weakened targets. Keep moving to the next nearby target rather than waiting long enough to break the rapid sequence.

Repeat qualifying sequences until the weighted counter reaches one hundred. Opponent chains in Crucible accelerate progress, but ordinary combatants also provide a route. The objective does not specify Solar damage. The annual Solstice event retired in June 2026.
