Soteria

Overview

Soteria, also called the Augurmind, is an artificial intelligence created by Ishtar Collective researchers using Vex technology. She was designed for joint research into extrasolar colonization with Clovis Bray's company. When she detected the approaching Black Fleet, she tried to launch colony ships without authorization to protect humanity, and she was subdued and imprisoned at the Ares Spire.

Story

The Guardian inadvertently freed her at the Ares Spire, and she escaped into the Hierarchy of Needs, an Exotic Solar combat bow. Ana Bray's analysis found her “borderline non-functional” after her long imprisonment, though most of her subconscious subroutines still operate to aid the bow's projectiles.
