Overview

Soon is the Exotic quest for the No Time to Explain Pulse Rifle Catalyst, given by the Exo Stranger after the Beyond Light campaign. Sources list it as Season 12. It takes about an hour.

Walkthrough

  1. Defeat combatants in the BrayTech facility (the BrayTech Exoscience area near Cadmus Ridge on Europa) for five schematic code fragments.
  2. Return to the Exo Stranger.
  3. Defeat 60 Vex with No Time to Explain in the Nexus, Infinitude and The Glassway on Europa. Kills with other weapons do not count.
  4. Return to the Exo Stranger.

Rewards

The No Time to Explain Catalyst, which makes the time-slip projectiles fire more frequently. A November 2020 PC Gamer guide and a January 2021 Shacknews guide each report 700 kills to charge the Catalyst; the older Game Rant range of 700–1,000 is not corroborated by these sources.
