History of Solar System

Overview

The Solar System (the Sol System in lore) is the setting of Destiny 2: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and beyond, with moons such as Europa, Titan and Io. During the Golden Age humanity colonised it; the Collapse forced a retreat and left most worlds to alien occupation.

Factions

The Vex, Cabal, Hive and Fallen all contest it. The Traveler arrived and created the Ghosts, and only Earth's Last City remains a secure human settlement. The Fallen reached the system after their Long Drift from Riis.
